In August 2007, a few months after my dad's passing, I sat by Watchaug lake in Rhode Island and watched my boys play wizards. It came to me that life was not over, and that it was ok to let my imagination run free.
So I wrote a book.
In July 2008, NYC editor Leah Hultenschmidt emailed me to request the full manuscript of my first attempt at novel writing. And since HEA is a lot harder in real life than in books, two months after this paperback hit the shelves of bookstores all over the world, my publisher changed its distributing format, let go of most of its editors and everything just disappeared...
Since then I have been caught on a runaway train that involves being an author trying to remain published, going back to school to become a science teacher and running after my two little boys.
And in the end, there is just me and my deep need to put my words on paper.
